Jakarta – Pada tanggal 16 Februari 2023 di kantor pusat Basarnas. Universitas Budi Luhur menerima penghargaan SAR Award dari Basarnas sebagai potensi SAR bersama Gubernur Sulawesi Selatan.
Acara ini diselenggarakan dalam rangka HUT Basarnas yang ke 51. Acara ini dibuka langsung oleh Bapak Presiden Joko Widodo.
Rektor Universitas Budi Luhur, Bapak Dr. Ir. Wendi Usino, M.Sc, MM menjadi pembicara pada kegiatan ini.
Terpilihnya Universitas Budi Luhur pada kegiatan ini karena Universitas Budi Luhur adalah kampus pertama Indonesia yang mendirikan program S1 Manajemen Bencana Universitas Budi Luhur.
Kepala yayasan Universitas Budi Luhur yaitu Bapak Kasih Hanggoro MBA mengaku sangat bangga dan berterima kasih kepada Basarnas karena telah memberikan penghargaan kepada Universitas Budi Luhur. Bapak Kasih Hanggoro MBA berharap semoga Universitas Budi Luhur dapat bekerja keras meningkatkan mutu kualitas pendidkian Universitas Budi Luhur khususnya Prodi Manajemen Bencana Universitas Budi Luhur bersama Basarnas dapat lebih maju.
