Kami mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komunikasi Universitas Budi Luhur yang sedang menyelesaikan Tugas Akhir berupa Project Kolaborasi bermaksud mengadakan suatu gerakan peduli lingkungan di RPTRA Amiterdam, Pulau Untung Jawa, Kepulauan Seribu pada tanggal 2 Desember 2019.
Aksi ini didukung oleh Yayasan Pendidikan Budi Luhur Cakti dan Bank Sampah Budi Luhur. Kegiatan ini bertema “Budi Luhur Clean Action 2019” yang bertujuan sebagai berikut :
1. Memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman kepada masyarakat umum tentang bahaya sampah plastik khususnya di laut.
2. Mengedukasi masyarakat dalam menangani dan memilah sampah sehari-hari.
3. Menumbuhkan kretivitas masyarakat untuk mengubah sampah plastik menjadi sesuatu yang lebih bermanfaat.
Dalam aksi “Budi Luhur Clean Action 2019” ini terdapat beberapa kegiatan antara
lain :
1. Aksi Pungut Pilah Sampah
2. Sosialisasi Pemanfaatan Plastik
3. Workshop Daur Ulang Sampah
4. Dongen bersama Cita, Budi, dan Luhur
5. Pameran Galeri Bank Sampah Budi Luhur
Harapan kami kegiatan ini dapat menjadi langkah awal Universitas Budi Luhur dalam melakukan pendampingan secara berkelanjutan terhadap masyarakat di Pulau Untung Jawa sehingga menjadikan pulau Untung Jawa sebagai pulau percontohan yang peduli terhadap lingkungan . Kegiatan ini juga merupakan bentuk komitmen Universitas Budi Luhur dalam menjaga lingkungan dan mengedukasi masyarakat, tidak hanya di darat tapi juga di laut. #yukberbenahplastik
