تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْ مِنْ كُلِّ أَمْرٍ
Artinya, “Pada malam itu turun para malaikat dan Ruh (jibril) dengan izin Tuhannya untuk mengatur semua urusan.” (QS Al-Qadr: 4).
Tak hanya itu, malaikat-malaikat juga hadir untuk menentukan takdir manusia pada tahun tersebut seperti ajal, rezeki, jodoh, dan lain sebagainya. Di malam lailatul qadar yang penuh berkah, malaikat akan mendoakan kebaikan bagi seluruh umat muslim tidak terkecuali. Doa istimewa itu dilakukan agar tahun setelah turunnya lailatul qadar dapat menjadi tahun yang lebih berkah dan manfaat untuk umat Islam.
2. Doa untuk dibaca pada malam lailatul qadar

berdasarkan riwayat Imam At-Tirmidzi. Berikut doanya:
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ اَلْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Allāhumma innaka afuwwun karīmun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘annī (‘annā jika dibaca berjamaah).
Artinya: “Ya Allah, sungguh Engkau maha pemaaf yang pemurah. Engkau juga menyukai maaf. Oleh karena itu, maafkanlah aku (maafkanlah kami).”
3. Alam memberi tanda datangnya malam lailatul qadar
Malam lailatul qadar memang tidak ada di tanggalan, namun alam dapat memberi tanda kapan datangnya malam yang istimewa itu. berikut merupakan tanda datangnya malam lailatul qadar:
- Bulan tampak seperti sepotong bejana, seperti dalam hadis riwayat berikut Dari Abu Hurairah, ia berkata, kami menyebutkan malam Lailatul Qadar di sisi Rasulullah Shallallahu‘alaihi wa sallam beliau bersabda:
أَيُكُم يَذْكُرُ حِيْنَ طَلَعَ الْقَمَرُ، وَهُوَ مِشْلُ شِقِّ جَفْنَةٍ
Artinya: “Siapa di antara kalian yang ingat ketika terbit bulan seperti syiqi jafnah.” (HR. Muslim Muslim 1170)
- Suasana malam terasa damai karena penuh kemuliaan serta berkah, seperti tercantum dalam sabda Rasulullah SAW berikut:
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةٌ طَلْقَةٌ لا حَارَّةٌ وَلا بَارِدَةٌ تُصْبِحُ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمَهَا حَمْرَاءَ ضَعِيفَةً
Dari Ibnu Abbas Radhiyallahu ‘anhuma, ia berkata, Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda: “(Malam) Lailatul Qadar adalah malam yang indah, cerah, tidak panas dan tidak juga dingin, (dan) keesokan harinya cahaya sinar mataharinya melemah kemerah-merahan.” (HR. Ibnu Khuzaimah 3/231, Bazzar 1/486
